Chai French Toast
Absolutely perfect flavor, and that's all I can say.Chai French ToastServes: 1
- 2 egg whites
- 2 TBSP unsweetened almond milk
- 1/8 tsp cardamom
- 1/8 tsp cloves
- 1/8 tsp ginger
- a dash of cinnamon
- 1 stevia packet
- 2 pieces bread of choice (I use natures own 40 cal/slice)
Mix all of the ingredients except for the bread. Soak 2 pieces bread of choice (I used natures own 40 cal/slice bc it's soft) in the egg whites for 2-3 minutes per side. Either cook in a waffle maker as I did (it was an experiment and made it so fluffy!) or cook in a large pan that's been sprayed with nonstick spray until the egg whites are fully cooked (2-3 minutes). Add desired toppings and dig in!On top of mine, I had a peanut butter marshmallow protein fluff (1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 scoop pb marshmallow whey protein by cellucor, and 8-10 stevia drops), pistachios, fiber one cereal, and a healthy chocolate syrup (2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder, 1.5 TBSP sugar free syrup, and 1 stevia packet).
