Chive Turkey Dumplings
Dinner: paleo chive turkey dumplings with (not so paleo ) sweet chili soy sauce for dipping. Credits to my boyfriend for recommending I make dumplings. I guess he has some good ideas sometimes or something. Meepī¸.Chive Turkey DumplingsMakes: 6 dumplings
- 6 oz raw 99% lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup diced chives
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 TBSP minced garlic
- 1/8 tsp ginger
- 3 paleo wraps (Julian Bakery brand)
Mix all of the ingredients (except for the paleo wraps) in a bowl. Roll into 6 balls. Cut 3 paleo wraps in half, making 6 triangles total. Place a turkey ball in the center of each wrap; fold and seal with a toothpick. Drop each dumpling into a pot of boiling water and let cook for 4-5 minutes. The outer wrap will soften and the dumpling "grows" in size when the turkey is cooked. Strain the dumplings, remove the toothpicks, and serve. To make the sweet chili soy sauce, mix 1 TBSP braggs liquid aminos, 1 TBSP sugar free maple syrup, and 1/8 tsp chili powder.
