Chocolate Orange Dream Protein Donuts
Donut time? Always and forever. Breakfast was chocolate orange dream protein donuts. Still in bliss from the previous cookies and cream protein donuts; wanted more today :DChocolate Orange Dream Protein DonutsMakes: 4Donut Base
- 1/3 cup raw old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 TBSP almond meal/flour
- 1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 30-40 orange stevia drops
- 1 stevia packet
- 1 double chocolate chunk quest bar
Orange Creamsicle Icing
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 TBSP orange creamsicle whey protein (from truenutrition.com)
- 1 stevia packet
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grind the oats into a flour. Then add the remaining donut batter ingredients (except for the quest bar) and blend again. Break apart 1 double chocolate chunk quest bar and swirl it into the batter. Spray a donut mold pan with nonstick spray. Pour batter amongst 4 donut molds. Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes.For the icing, mix the three listed ingredients.
