With the release of the new Cookies and Cream flavor quest bar today, I realized I've never done a Quest Bar review! I've done protein powders and nut butters but never quest bars! So I should :)First, let me say that I love love love quest bars. They are an all-natural protein bar with just 4g of active carbs. They don't contain sugar and they are gluten free. And they taste like DESSERT. So delicious. Most protein bars you find have tonssss of sugar and might as well be a straight-up candy bar. But these are a guilt-free protein treat. I love them.Now, the new flavor!! If you're familiar with other quest bars and are looking for a comparison flavor, I immediately thought it tasted like the cookie dough flavor. It's extremely soft like that one too! I like it better plain than baked/broiled; I felt baking it took away a lot of it's flavor goodnessss. It doesn't taste like Oreos to me so I don't know why people are saying that.... But it's REALLY delicious. Just, not Oreo flavor so don't expect that. But DO expect crunchy cookie fun times and creamy lusciousness. If that's a word.... But basically you need to get this!!! New top favorite flavor for sure!!My other top favorite flavors are chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate brownie, coconut cashew, banana nut muffin, and white chocolate raspberry (in that order :D). These are all SO soft too!! The chocolate chip cookie dough and coconut cashew flavors are amazing broiled.My least favorite flavors are mixed berry bliss, PB&J, peanut butter supreme, and chocolate peanut butter. I'll pretty much never buy these flavors. I'd eat it, but prefer others. I find something kind of "off" about their peanut butter flavor.... And for some reason these flavors are usually pretty hard when I buy them so you HAVE to microwave them.But pretty much, they're all delicious!! I really recommend these protein bars; they're great for when you're in a rush. Also, if you haven't been able to tell, I love to incorporate them into my baking!
