Sweet Cinnamon Plum French Toast
Postworkout sweet cinnamon plum French toast stack. Cooked in a waffle maker because it's fluffier and quicker and I'm lazy ;p. Topped with "caramelized" plums, a maple cinnamon protein drizzle, and some cranberry pecan oat clusters by Love Grown Foods; it's all about that crunchy/soft ratio.Sweet Cinnamon Plum French ToastServes:1
- 2 egg whites
- 2 TBSP unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 stevia packet
- 2 pieces bread of choice
- 1/2 cup chopped plums
- 2 TBSP sugar free syrup
- 2 TBSP water
- 2 TBSP sugar free syrup
- 1 TBSP cinnamon swirl whey protein (cellucor brand)
Mix the egg whites, almond milk, stevia, and cinnamon. Soak 2 pieces bread of choice in the mix for 2 minutes per side (I use natures own 40 cal/slice because it's softttt). Cook in a sprayed pan for 2-3 mins per side until the egg whites are cooked. Or a waffle maker like I did for fluff.In a pan, cook the chopped plums, 2 tbsp sugar free syrup, and water until the liquid is all gone. Add on top.Mix 2 tbsp sugar free syrup and 1 tbsp cinnamon swirl whey protein then pour on top.
