Cake Batter Oatmeal

I don't know if you've seen my ridiculous current nut butter collection (here) but. I have a lot of jars. Something liek 24-25 now, idk. I HAVE A FLAVOR OBSESSION. Anyways. Surprisingly, I've managed to actually finish 3 jars recently. There's about a tablespoon left of nut butter in each jar that I'd hate to waste ;p sooo my favorite ways to get it out are to put oatmeal in it or overnight oats! The nut butter with seep into the oatmeal and its just so divine. For dessert last night I made warm cake batter oatmeal with chocolate chip cookie dough quest bar swirled within (it gets melttyyyy :D) and put it in an almost empty cashew butter jar. Then I topped it with a cake batter protein cream and more chocolate chip cookie dough quest bar bits. So. So good.IMG_0082Cake Batter OatmealServes: 1Oat Base

  • 1/2 cup raw old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 stevia packet
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp butter extract
  • 10 English toffee stevia drops
  • 1/2 chocolate chip cookie dough quest bar(Optional)

Cake Batter Protein Cream

  • 3 TBSP plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 scoop vi shake mix
  • 1.5 TBSP unsweetened almond milk
  • 7-8 English toffee stevia drops

Mix the oatmeal ingredients (except for the quest bar) in a bowl and microwave for 2:00-2:30 minutes. If you want to have the cookie dough bits, break up 1/2 chocolate chip cookie dough quest bar and swirl it into the oats once they're cooked. Then make the protein cream by mixing the 4 listed ingredients. Pour on top of the oatmeal and experience bliss!
